Concrete is one of the most versatile and durable building materials. Add to that its relatively low cost, and you can easily see why concrete has become one of the most common building blocks of our time. When people have problems with concrete, it is often not because of its characteristics, but because of its aesthetics. The characteristic gray color that concrete gives is considered by many to be monotonous.
This is a good question, and it is widely believed that concrete is gray; sometimes light, sometimes dark, but definitely gray. It is definitely the most sought-after concrete color in the world at the moment, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s concrete floors, concrete walls, or furniture items like concrete countertops, concrete countertops or tables. Materials reflect and absorb light to varying degrees. If the material completely absorbs light, it appears black; if it reflects all the light, it appears white. If it absorbs or reflects only certain wavelengths of light, it appears colored. The gray color of cement lies between the two extremes – white and black.
The concrete is naturally gray. This is due to the fact that every concrete mix contains a significant proportion of cement, which is mainly composed of large amounts of iron, manganese and chromium oxide. Since iron ore is always black, it turns the rest of the mixture gray when heated and mixed with other concrete ingredients.
